God is always able!
Throughout history, people have experienced difficult and trying times, including suffering, pain, and hardship. In these moments, it is common to wonder if God is guiding us or if we are simply left to navigate life's challenges on our own. In our suffering we must realize a few things about ourselves and the God who is able to transform terrible situations into terrific testimonies of grace and goodness.
First, it is essential to understand that suffering is a natural part of life. We all experience hardship and pain at some point in our lives. While it may be difficult to comprehend why we have to endure such hardships, it is often through these experiences that we grow and learn the most. The Bible teaches us that God is always present, even in our darkest moments. In Psalm 23:4, it says, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."
Secondly, God is able to guide His people through tough times because of His infinite wisdom and love. The Bible tells us that God has a plan for each of our lives and that He works all things for our good (Romans 8:28). Even when we cannot see a way out of our difficulties, God has a way of making a way where there seems to be no way. In Isaiah 43:2, it says, "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."
Thirdly, God uses suffering to refine and shape us into the person He has called us to be. James 1:2-4 says, "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything." While it may be difficult to see the purpose in our suffering at the time, God can use these experiences to help us grow stronger in our faith and more compassionate towards others.
Finally, God is always able to guide His people through tough times because He is faithful and trustworthy. The Bible tells us that God is unchanging and that His love endures forever (Psalm 136:1). He is always with us, even in our darkest moments, and He promises to never leave us or forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). When we put our trust in God, we can have confidence that He will guide us through any difficulty we may face.
In conclusion, while suffering and tough times are a natural part of life, we can take comfort in knowing that God is always able to guide us through these challenges. He is infinitely wise, loving, and faithful, and He uses our experiences to refine us into the people He has called us to be. As we navigate the ups and downs of life, let us put our trust in God and lean on Him for guidance and strength.
