RUSTBURG UMC FOOD PANTRY
God has called every follower of Christ to make disciples. At Rustburg we look to meet the very real needs of our village and the Lynchburg area. The second Saturday of each month (9 AM - 11:30 AM) we provide food and basic needs for any neighbor in need. All are welcome to come. 

Prayer Shawl Ministry

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry has been active since 2019.

 If you know of someone who would be comforted by receiving one, let Pastor Matt know. That is the purpose of a prayer shawl: it’s like a hug to let the recipient know that they are being held in our prayers.
Recipients do not have to be members of our church, just connected by members. 

If you would like to make/donate a shawl here are the suggested sizes:

Triangle prayer shawl - 65” long and 32” center back.
Rectangle prayer shawl -19” x 69” or 14” x 70”

*People come in all shapes, sizes, & preferences,
so these are just guidelines.*
