Rustburg UMC has a vibrant music ministry.  
Our Chancel Choir rehearses Thursday evenings at 7 PM.

Our mission is to glorify God and praise Jesus Christ our Lord through music. Our goal is to bring worshippers to a closer relationship with God through music. We welcome singers to join us.

Just so you know we work hard and have a lot of fun in the process (and we are a very friendly group)!

We are raising funds to support RUMC Choir members’ trip to Carnegie Hall in mid-November.  We are around halfway to raising the $10,000 to cover residency and concert fees. We're hoping to meet that goal and raise additional funds to help cover a portion of our travel expenses.  It is such an honor to be selected to perform in Carnegie under the direction of world-renowned composer Joseph Martin.

We will have another concert, Sunday, October 25, 2026 at 4 PM (free, but donations welcome) where we hope to raise additional funds.
